Meet the candidates running for office in Montgomery County in the April 2026 election

As a service to our readers, the Montgomery Standard sent questionnaires to each candidate in one of the six contested races on the April 7, 2026, municipal election ballot.

To ensure that all candidates could speak in their own voice, responses were not edited, except to fix minor spelling mistakes. Each candidate, regardless of the position they are running for, were asked the same questions.

Below are the races and candidates in a contested election. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order. Click on the candidate's name to see their responses to our questionnaire. If clicking on the candidate's name does not take you to a questionnaire, it means the Montgomery Standard has not yet received the candidate's responses.
